Fun & Games

Have you ever wondered why some TV, movie and rock stars promote certain products? If you see a star you like on a commercial for shoes or a new cereal, it might make you want to buy the item right away. After all, if it's good enough for Miley Cyrus or Peyton Manning, it should be good for you
too, right?

But most of the time, stars are paid to say an item is the best, even if it really isn't.
And sometimes they tell you to buy products that are bad for you. They might be in an ad for junk food or sugary sodas. But athletes and pop stars are supposed to stay healthy, so they might not even eat what they're selling!

If you want to buy something because you saw a celebrity using it, stop to think. Do you really need it, or do you just want to look cool? It might be better to save your money instead of buying something you don't really need.
