William C. Smigiel
David has been with LIA since 2012 and serves as vice president and agency manager. He holds licenses in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health. Prior to his work with LIA, David, who is fluent in Spanish, spent 18 years in retail banking. Most recently he served as assistant vice president and as a branch manager for Liberty Bank for Savings. There, his responsibilities included business development, loan origination, and operations management.
Arlene has a long history with the agency, having started her LIA career nearly 30 years ago. Since 1986 she’s steadily broadened her areas of responsibility and serves as assistant secretary and assistant agency manager. She holds a producer license for Property, Casualty, Life, and Health and also has expertise in the Affordable Health Care Act.
Sera started with Liberty Bank for Savings in 1988, where she worked both as a teller and as a personal banker. In 1992, she joined LIA and serves as an insurance producer. Sera, who is fluent in Italian, has a degree in finance and investment and holds insurance licenses in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health.
Paula, an insurance producer, has had a long career in the insurance industry. She brought 18 years of industry experience when she came to LIA in 1998. She holds a producer license for Property, Casualty, Life, and Health.
The newest member of the team, Jerry, an insurance producer, comes to LIA from Liberty Bank for Savings where he worked as a personal banker since 2000. Jerry, who is fluent in Spanish, has a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and a Master’s from the University of Chicago in Social Service Administration. He holds insurance licenses in Property and Casualty.
