Liberty Bank awards $20,000 in COVID-19 relief grants to local businesses and nonprofits

CHICAGO, Ill  June 11, 2020 Liberty Bank for Savings, recently awarded a total of $20,000 in grant money to nine local organizations.  Liberty Bank is the recipient of the grant through its membership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, which offered grants for COVID-19 Relief to member institutions and the communities they serve.  Liberty applied for the grant on behalf of neighborhood small businesses and nonprofits.

Smigiel, Chairman and CEO. “Through our partnership with the FHLB Chicago, we are pleased to be providing these grants to small businesses and nonprofit organizations in our community who are impacted by COVID-19.”
